Happy Birthday, Emma!

Happy 5th Birthday, Emma!

Today was Emma's birthday.  We started the birthday weekend by having a party yesterday, the 29th.  The plan was to celebrate her birthday with a princess party at our house.  Everyone was to dress up like a princess or a prince and we were going to play games, eat pizza and cake, open presents, and then the highlight of the evening would be "The Pinata."  "The Pinata" was really all that Emma wanted at her party.  Who knew that a pinata could be so popular. 

Anyway, I guess you could say that our plans changed.  On Friday evening Hannah was not feeling well.  Well...you guessed it...she was sick.  She was still sick on Saturday morning, so we quickly changed plans and moved everything to Pizza Hut.  She had a great time.  We played a couple of games, did the pinata thing, ate, and opened presents.  She was dressed up like Rapunzel and had a great time.  Then today we celebrated some more with family presents and more cake.  She was so excited to turn 5.

Here are 2 pictures from today.  We tried to get one with all of the kiddos on her birthday, but as you can see Hannah was pretty pitiful.  She had an ear infection and was just not feeling well...
