Happy 7th Birthday, Ethan!

Today Ethan turned 7 years old.  He has been sooooo excited all week for today to come.  He woke up to a bedroom full of balloons and then he ate one of his favorite breakfast meals - waffles.  Yum!  Then he helped us get ready for his birthday party that would be happening later in the day.  Around lunch time he went to basketball practice.  From 4-6 we had a superhero training birthday party at the house.  All the kiddos trained to be superheroes by making their very own mask; getting rid of bombs placed by an evil villain (various colored balloons); maneuvering through an obstacle course to save a baby and Snow White from the evil Lex Luthor, Doc Oc, and the Penguin; and then finally saving all of us from a dinosaur attack (a pinata).  By the end, all of our trainees earned a certificate of completion naming them full fledged superheroes.  It was a fun birthday party and I think all the kiddos enjoyed it.

Here is Ethan's Thor Hammer birthday cake...

Then taking the baby to its mother...
Next, Joshua racing to slay Doc Oc...

Next, Emma had to scale the tall building by jumping over it and then making three turns on the sit and spin...
Finally, Joshua shooting the Penguin wth silly string so that he can save Snow White...YAY!
Ethan, the Incredible Hulk, saving us from the evil dinosaur pinata...
Time for cake...

By the end, they all became full fledged superheroes.
