Wow, Rachel is 10 months old. It seems like this month just flew by, but Rachel has done so many things. She is doing the inchworm (this is what I call her version of the crawl). She isn't quite crawling, but she gets on all fours, then bends her knees forward, then she moves her arms forward slightly and then falls on her face. Then she does this entire process all over again. Since crawling is not her forte yet, she rolls all over the place and now she easily gets into and out of sitting from her belly. Many times she just sits on the floor and cries in hopes that someone will either pick her up or bring her a toy. So I'm trying to make it so that she has to move so that she actually will. She is eating cheerios like a pro and now will eat all kinds of baby puffs and yogurt treats without any hesitation (now they all make it into her mouth). We can't wait to see what next month brings.
Here is her giraffe picture...
This is how I keep finding her at nap time. It's almost like she gets into the sitting position in her crib and then forgets how to lay back down again. So she just gives up, lays her head down, and falls asleep.I thought this was a cute one with Ethan.
The kiddos thought it would be funny to make Rachel look like ET.
Love that smile...
